Capacity Building

SHE collaborates with communities, international and local organizations, governments and civil society across a range of sectors to integrate health, food security, gender, access to water and energy in community based adaptation and resilience building.

Climate change adaptation  A key component of our capacity building efforts aims to promote gender equality and education of girls and women to effectively engage in the prevention and response to climate change threats to water scarcity, food security, nutrition and health.

SHE members have been supporting community participatory capacity building initiatives to foster livelihoods, food security health and women and girls’ education and entrepreneurship since 2015.
